US: Homeland - Season 4 (US Schedule)

As long as "for a bit" is just one episode. It's been an enjoyable season for the most part until the last episode.

This show single handedly killed Stardust for me, I can't watch it now without thinking she's going to jump into her crack whore impression.

Not sure about the last episode - perhaps I missed some things:

  • I know Saul wasn't a woman but why didn't he attempt to cover himself a little better than that?
  • They had drone support in that region but only noticed the armed men entering the town when they arrived in the centre?
  • No armed drone support? They could have destroyed the trucks before they entered the town
  • If the drone support would notice the men heading to the town, could Saul not have been directed to the outskirts and hide until night fall?

I thought that, he could have covered his head a bit more.

They had drone support but as they were tracking where Saul was, I doubt they could see all the Taliban entering from different directions.

Bombing an innocent town (or nearby) would not have looked good Politically.

Carrie took the decision that he wasn't going to get out of there, having him caught was better than the alternative of him killing himself before being captured (even though that's what he wanted)

Great episode I'm loving this season but why didn't they just bomb the compound after Saul was clear and why did they set the rendezvous in the middle of the town, surely he could have met with the marines in the middle of nowhere? Meh, it's only television I guess!

I blasted through 3 seasons of this in a week, admittedly skipped most of Brody's kids scenes.

When Brody died it felt like the show died for some reason, I can't imagine watching it without him. I might give season 4 a go because Carrie is hot, that's about it :D
