What is your idea, of an ideal life for you? What do you want to achieve in the future? Perhaps you are currently living it?

Mine is reasonably simple; become an aeronautical engineer with a decent enough wage, play football on a weekend and go to the gym in the afternoon for an hour or so. Go airsofting every so often, and go skiing at least once a year.

Have a nice enough house and a car that gets me about, and I'll be as happy as anyone's ever been :)

What about you?

Sort of both, but genuinely I'm not sure what more I'd want. It doesn't interest me anymore having a stupidly large house and a fast car and millions in expendable income.

The dream lifestyle is travel and see the world.

Although living like Dan Bilzerian aren't bad if going by his FB account lol

Nice house overlooking the sea/large lake, close enough to a city/large town for shopping but far enough away to have piece and quiet and a reasonable amount of wood/land.

Skiing at the weekend in winter and in the summer some water sports/kayaking. Work 3 days a week/6 months a year and do plenty of travelling worldwide.

Hopefully the house and working will be in a few years but the skiing and activities next year!

It's not far off where I am right now to be honest, SB has to be one of the best places in the world to live with an obscenely good year-round climate. Great place to be self-employed with a flexible schedule also - yes today I think I will take the morning off and go walk on the beach/go surfing and then just do a few hours in the evening :p

The work might not last forever but certainly enjoying it while it lasts! :p

Dream - Winning the lottery and spending my days travelling the world.

Reality - Getting my own house, 2 kids and being financially secure.

For me more foreign travel, although I would have had 5 decent holidays this year. For everything else, I have more than any reasonable person could ever wish for.

all the aero engineers i know are dicks :p

btw if you go into that field go work designing engines not the planes there's way more money, more travel and more variety.

but if thats really what you want

I want to have a job in Management that I enjoy and plenty of money to afford a great 5 bedroom townhouse and a nice car.

A loving wife and 2 kids I will spoil rotten.

Simples really.

Move to sydney, live in a nice place over looking the sea and travel a lot, couple of nice cars.

Life is not too bad at the moment, I get 4 or 5 holidays a year, have a nice enough house, decent cars, good friends the only thing I feel is wrong is that I dont like living in the UK.

Get paid to work 5 times a month, for a job that lets me travel the world.

I'm just back from LA and heading to Cape Town at the end of the week :D

After being given a 50/50 chance of living at 17 (Bike accident), I collected my payout at 25 and bought a house had to give up being a sparky. I went to uni got my degree and now have my dream job working in Automotive as a Diagnostic Engineer. It pays enough to live, my accident bought me a nice house.

What being in hospital taught me was that their is always someone far worse then your self. I spent months learning to walk, In my mind I was winging why me, why did that */*/* have to hit me off, but when the guy next to me had just lost both legs I thought at least I have a chance to try and walk again (even though they told me I never would).

Id like to have a bit more money so I can in 10 years build my own dream house with say 4 bed rooms but most importantly a 4 or 5 car garage! Im pretty happy though and when I get a bit miserable I just think back to all those years ago and realise how lucky I am and how far I have come.
