Kainz.... you can also just tick a box under the security tab in xposed to fix the S health thing.
Also you can get OTA updates still by faking the status of the device from custom to official so you can still get proper updates by ticking another boxed called fake device status.

Aye, I noticed that right afterwards and was like fffffuuu I did notice the option to fake the device status so that it looks like a unmodified Note4. I've got it enabled so lets see how it pans out when an update rolls in...at some point.

Anybody running custom ROMS? What are people using? Trying to decide whether its worth rooting at the moment.

I tried a Custom rom and kernel but ended up with some very weird GPU slowdown problem. Randomly my GPU speed would just tank and the homepages would get really jerky like it was running about 5fps lol. Went back on stock and everything is fine now.
I don't think theres much point doing anything really until 5.0 is out. Im personally going to do a full wipe when that's available to avoid any issues.

Hmmm. I'm misssing some of the xposed framework tweaks I had on my S4, that's the only reason I want to root TBH.

Very good quality as usual from spigen.
Think i would have preferred a slightly softer feeling material on the back but i can live with it.
in my opinion is the best looking "slim" case for the note 4.

Oh and if you use the heartbeat sensor thingy on the back, the case makes it pretty much unusable.

Screen is normally way up at the top by itself so something's sucking the juice, that's the good news

Anyone got a decent screen protector? I got a pack of invisible defenders today but haven't had a look yet. I would like a tempered glass one but the reviews are a minefield from what I can see.

Oh and what is "halo" that everyone keeps referring to?

Forget the running apps. Go to app manager and see the ones you can disable.

A lip around the protector where the screen curves away slightly so it doesn't stick down.

edit: yep - it seems a completely unreal decision to remove the option to turn it on or off - I can't understand the reasoning behind it.

Just a heads up if you didn't already know mate, but you will not have any EU warranty if you buy the Korean model.
