Bought on the Xbone as it only worked out at £34 with the EA Access discount, plus I had a whole $7 of store credit already so it was the cheapest option for me. I'm hoping it will let me play it tomorrow, whether I have to set my region as US or not remains to be seen.

Then you'll be stuck with it forever! I suppose if you never trade or sell it makes no difference. The way things are right now with bugs in games I'm going physical all the time.
 
Got my dispatch text from simply games at 9:30 this morning :) maybe tomorroe knowing them!

Being naughty and picking up gta on way home too, she doesnt need to know ;)
 
Anyone else pre-order with PSN? It's my first time doing it and I don't know how to check if its pre loaded or not yet? I'm living in a hotel with crappy connection atm so need to get it going asap!

Is it listed as one your games on the home screen (i.e. does it appear to have downloaded)?

If so, go into settings, and storage (or something similar), and it will list each game and how much space they take up. Select Dragon Age and you should see if it is still downloading (as it will say something like 10/20GB)

Thanks I had a look but it doesn't appear on the main home screen, its in the library, but has a countdown timer to the UK release date, not a pre load date.
 
So what sort of character are people going with? Warrior, rogue etc?

And race?

I usually go warrior but may go a bit different this time! Will have to see what pros and cons there are if any to race choice

Sounds like you've paid for it but haven't downloaded it (preload). I've just pre-ordered today after trying not to buy anymore games and after buying I immediately clicked on download and left it to install. There was a small update file and some pre-order items but otherwise it's listed in my storage and on the main screen. If I click on it I get the timer with 1 day and so many hours.

In response to the question above going Archer. I did play the original on PS3 and got a fair amount through it but never fully enjoyed the game. Skipped the second but everything sounds good about this game. Looking forward to it.
