US: The Walking Dead Season 5 (contains spoilers)

Thought it was a fairly intense episode, good build up and ties into Beth arc quite nicely.

Fairly certain Daryl mysterious figure is Noah. I am starting to get a but worried for Carol particularly with her flashback story

I enjoyed that episode, was certainly better then the other lone story arcs we had recently. I find episodes without Daryl or Rick in fairly dull.

What got me in this episode was Carol is a pro killer and very efficient in what she does, yet she got caught off guard not once but twice. Could be she was injured or had a lot in her mind.....hmm still :|

Yeah a few things that were a bit illogical - could I guess explain it away as saying she had a lot on her mind but shes usually more careful than that - the way they went through the double doors was pure contrived to make the story work - could see what would happen a mile off.

Yeah, the scene where they were coming through the double doors was a fairly easy tell tale sign of what was to come.

Cracking episode, a nice up set for the next couple of episodes - and nicely filled the big gap about what Carol did in her time away.

Oh and:

What’s it gonna take?

A lot. They got guns, people.

So do we. :cool::D

Another dull episode!

Who said it was intense!? We know that Carol is hospitalised and we now Daryl is alive therefore everything in that episode was an utter waste of time with ZERO tension! Of course they were going to survive the ludicrous fall and the lack of weapons.

Would have been far better showing all these episodes broken up and in some sort of chronological order to build up something that makes us at least think they might be in some sort of peril!

The hospital van scene was ridiculous, why did Daryl get in the van in the first place? Why didn't they see the swarm of walkers coming from miles off? How did the van land squarely on its wheels after it clearly had the trajectory to land nose first or upside down? Is it a cat? How did they survive the fall with barely a scratch? Oh and there were 20+ walkers surrounding the van, why did only 3-4 walkers follow the van off the bridge? Even if they were smart enough to avoid falling off a fair few more would have been pushed of by the ones behind.

Sometimes this show really is crap but alas I keep watching. At least they're back exploring a city now which we haven't seen for a while.

speak about draw and drag things out.....

i dont get why this show has its following sometimes.

in the hope that something good happens i guess.

they pace it in such a way that you do get a decent dose every once in a while, which at least for me is enough to keep watching.

i'm a big fan of dystopian stuff which keeps me in, but only just...

Was a pretty dull episode overall. The first 10-15 mins was in utter blackness and I could barely see anything.

It was rather silly the weapons being taken part, as mentioned the going through the doors bit was obvious to where it was going. And Daryl appeared back at the church with his crossbow several episodes ago, so I knew he'd get it back anyway.

I liked the episode, dialogue wise not a lot happened but it was done well with some good shots of the city post zombies. It would be a good episode if i was watching the entire series in one go but i just needed more at the end as not enough happened. I would prefer if they didn't stick to one set of chars per episode and jumped between them so we could see what people are doing, this whole flash back and mixing up of timelines is different i guess but leads to episodes where we have 2 chars only whole episode.

Finds arrow through zombies head, puts it in his mouth.

Oh Darryl you fool.

I also don't understand the fact they use the butts of guns to smash heads in, then proceed to touch the guns again with their bare hands, breaks the immersion for me.

"Now which one of you fine chaps has a handywipe so I can wipe my gun butt?"

Yeah doesn't have the same ring to it :p

But as everyone is already 'infected' I don't think it matters on the 'touching' the gooey bits with your bare hands... holding the 'used' arrow in your mouth on the other hand is just mingin'...

Yeah was thinking the same lines if you get injured by a bite, the bite kills you and and the infection brings you back?

Glad I'm not the only one, these episodes in pitch black are getting quite frustrating/annoying tbh
