Two weeks with the I-Blason Armourbox.
Well inital impressions were not massively overwhelming, but was to be expected with cheap price, the materials used did not feel or look very high quality, but all i wanted it for was to provide extra protection when it was required, i took the risk of taking my brand new Note 4 out with me on a two week military field exercise, not something i would normally do but hey i have insurance on the phone and what looked to be an extremely robust case
the case held up really well, and it really did a good job of keeping the phone protected, when i took the phone out when i got home it was in the same pristine condition as it was when it went in, the case itself has a few war wounds, a couple of scrapes to the bezel and a few scratches on the screen protector, but otherwise in good nick.
in the end it did its job well, not the most premium feeling product, but it works.
Pros
- Very robust
- Great protection
- built in screen protector
Cons
- Massively bulky
- Poor material quality
- Built in screen protector dosnt have a cutout for home button, fingerprint scanner does not work through the protector.
- raised bezel makes use of soft keys/home button difficult
- inner case is hard plastic with poorly placed cutouts for power and volume buttons
Back to the Spigen Neo Hybrid for now.
Still holding out for the Spigen Tough Armour and tempered glass screen protector, which i think i will treat myself to on pay day, in the mean time i have the Verus Damda slide case on route, bought out of curiosity more than anything.
also find myself tempted by the Zenus BLACK Tesoro Diary case, but the price tag is a little off putting, anyone else got one to confirm if the quality is worth it?
