To help urgent !!!

I second that if you have richer sounds in the are go to that they can always price match (even online offers!). Also try to get a TV with 100 Mhz Processing rate, watch out for misleading marketing tactics they use these days Samsung Clear Motion Rate, LG Tru Motion, Sony Motion Flow etc.. they might say 100mhz but its not real Processing rate.

This should help:

Out of my budget sorry.

I noticed the link I posted showed the 48" version, the 40 " version is a lot cheaper. cracking led imo really enjoyed using my Samsung and I was a die hard Panasonic lover for years... was pleasantly surprised with the Samsung when I got it..

Didn't really want to spend more than £300. Any more ideas ?

The 42" LG from Currys you linked to seems fine to me?

I have a 47" LG and it's great with my XO and PS4, plus anything else.

Personally I have trust issues with Toshiba ever since I noticed their lower-end models (a few years ago anyway) were identical to the supermarket's own-brand models, just more expensive.

Some are yes, like a few manufactures they use TV's made by Vestel, just some like to hide the bit's in their own styled cabinet.

AvForums gave the Toshiba 7/10 which for a cheap tv is quite good.
