*** Official Nintendo Wii U thread ***

How much did people pay for their Pro Controller?
I'm wanting to pick up, Captain Toads Treasure Hunt, Yoshi's Wooly World and Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze and wondering if I'll get much use out of it.
 
Think I paid £28 a while back for my pro controller, prices have gone up since though.

Watch out for fakes!, quite a few out there.

You could get it cheaper via an import site like PlayAsia, I think a few people here have done that.

Wish I had purchased a few Pro's back when they were ~£20, pre 3D world release.

Can you please suggest me the best "docking station" for the tablet and controllers?

Also, the best Wii U "gamepad"? :)
 
Anyone played that new mario game? Mario 3d??? or something.

Any good? Think i might get it as one of those family presents for all of us to play at christmas.
 
Picked up a Wii U basic with Super Smash Bros yesterday. Smash is great, really fun. I need to fish out my Wii Pro Controller though as i think it will be easier to play on that.

Is the Wifi really awful on the Wii U or is it just me? It wouldn't connect at first and had to do manual settings and the update took ages and kept on dropping connection. None of my other wireless devices have had any trouble before.

No known issues with wifi, maybe check Nintendo's website to see if your router has issues with Wii U's? Maybe Nintendo network was just busy.

It is excellent, a must have for wii u owners. It is extremely varied, every level feels really unique and crafted. I have played it a lot with my family.
 
November has been the busiest month for my Wii U in the 14 months I've owned it :eek:

I bought a pro controller & mario kart 8 today :D just need my wii u to arrive in the post.. What's the eshop when purchasing games, do you pay the exact amount or do you need to add funds to wallet like the playation 4?
 
Great news didn't like the way PSN Store made you add funds before purchasing a games. I always ended up with left over virtual money.
