Don't know anything about this story/character other than the Keanu movie. Thought it was good and the TV show imo is doing a good job too. Must be the gruesome horror theme.

Yer getting to this point, I think its a bit different but no walking dead, I really do wanna like it as I did like the film but its not something that I look forward to every week...

I think supernatural is an excellent show and pretty much covered it all it was quite dangerous to do such a similar show but will give it a chance since its interesting for now.

Its a bit like Z competing with walking dead accept Z did does it kinda more fun yet serious and gets away with it.

I've replaced Supernatural with this for the time being. Haven't got time to watch every show and the last few seasons of Supernatural have been more than a little dull (that, and I really can't be bothered with the 'twist' at the end of the last season).

I can understand why they'd consider cancelling it through. Constantine is taking too long to find its feet. It could be really good, and I think it will get there eventually, but will it take too long? Aside from Constantine himself (and maybe Papa Midnight), the other recurring characters still need a lot of work, and the over-arching plot is still a bit of a mystery. Not so great for episode 5 of a 13 episode run.

It hasn't been canceled yet, but it's not being picked up again by NBC after the final episode has aired, which doesn't bode well for it.

It's not surprising though. The latest episode was the best so far, but I think i5 worked better because papa midnight is one of the better, if not the only character after Constantine that is any good.

Episode 5 was crap IMO. Episode 4 was by far the best. It's not been cancelled just yet. But I think they're only doing a 13 episode run this season.

I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm making an observation on how dramatic people get over TV shows and how they're "CRAP" if it wasn't as good as last week's episode.

It doesn't do much good for the future of this series, one I am enjoying, even if it is a bit off at times and isn't the BEST THING EVER ALL THE TIME.

If i didn't watch some CW shows i'd probably be calling it crap too. But i do and this is pretty much on par with most of them, perhaps slightly better.

Not everything has to be Breaking Bad or Sopranos level to be entertaining.

True and I don't think it's crap, just not as good as I'd like it to be (yet), which I suppose illustrates some of the points being made.

Episode 6 was much better, even if it was a bit of the obligatory Halloween theme, Chas playing a bit more of a role helped.
