But you can't report after the game (i.e. when you saw the demo). I just report just to be sure.

You can can't you? When I was going through a bad "They are all hacking against me! QQ" phase, and reporting one or two people a game; still less than 50% of the opposing team I might add. I decided I had best watch replays first to see if my suspicions were correct.
It turned out I still have not actually found an obvious wh'r, and everytime I was squarely getting beat, embarrasingly easily in many situations.

Back to my point I used to think I could report people from the name tabs in demos, actually you can though wehter it works or not?
 
Thought I'd roll the dice on a solo queue game. Got matched with a group of 4. By round 5 I was getting trash talked and voted, even though one of them with apparently over 400 hours got 0-19 at the end of the game. Needless to say, effectively 4v5, we lost. Deranked after. woo!

Why are people so quick to accuse people of hacking, saying >50% hack is absolutely absurd and completely wrong.

This recent pro stuff hasn't helped at all, people shout hack 3 rounds into the game. I don't understand why people have such a hard time accepting the fact that people are better than them.

When you get to the higher ranks it gets better, I'm currently at LEM and the quality of games is generally higher, more people wanting to take it seriously etc.

This totally!
When I 1st started playing I used to think I was being unfairly beaten a lot, I used to think of my self as a good fps player having done well at games like COD *shudder*
Anyway im still a relative new (about 75hrs under my belt all casual until recently playing competative) now I know the maps a lot better and where people are very likely to be in some situations I can line up a shot and wait for them to appear, this to a newbie seems like they have been wallhacked, I mean how did they know I was there right?! But it just comes down to experiance.

Also just because some top level pros have cheated to try and find a edge on the competition that is at a rediculously high level doesnt mean every Tom dick and harry cheat now.

I can geniunely say that I don't think I have come across a hacker in the 75hrs ive played. So if the 50% of players are hacking comment is true (I dont think it is) I must be very very lucky, maybe I should go by a lottery ticket!

i started as a silver after soloing the majority of my placement matches.

silver to GN took what seemed like an age.

now climbing up through GN ranks, currently at GN3.

my only advice.

solo is bad

watch youtube videos from the likes of adren, warowl.

just enjoy the game.

went through the same recently.

after many many hours of google-fi and postings i decided on the LG 24GM77

it seemed to have all the features the Eizo Foris did (the one used at dreamhack) but for over £100 less.

colours seem good (a smidge washed out but i think that's just normal among any 144hz monitor)
 
I usually come across a hacker every 1/5 games I reckon. That being said, 5 games = potentially 50 players.... So based on my calculations approx. 1/50 people cheat (2%).... Not 50 to 90% lol

Annoying when you have to play one either way.

nice, i was tempted to pick that one up when it came down to £25 the other day but preferred the FK1 so didnt jump and buy.

FK14 has more of a glossy finish from what ive read, FK1 has a more rubbery finish.

think im gunna go for the FK2 when its released in a few weeks though. will be such a difference from my G400 (which i dont think suits my grip at all)

Very happy with my ViewSonic VG2401mh.
true 8 bit panel
144hz
1ms
etc etc

Viewsonic are including a free game with this model at the moment as well

Can't compare it to any others as this is the 1st 144hz monitor I have used.

i was tempted to get that as D-ABS are doing it for £199 with free CODAW (which i can sell on)
