Looking at replacing all my rads in the house as they are ugly. I want to replace 1 of 2 that's in my dining room 1st. It's currently 1200 x 400mm.

Looking at this one http://www.screwfix.com/p/kudox-pre...e-panel-convector-radiator-700-x-1200mm/30717

£65.59 to me.

Has anyone fitted these or used them, are they good?

I'll need too get some radiator valves as well, not sure if you use a TRV or not. Any advise on this?

My pipe work is HEPO20 10mm stuff just to add to it.

Thanks

Sorry missed the bit about you getting discount.

I use them and they are warm :p definately fit a TRV

I used these when I fitted central heating at a friends house.
Cant fault the rads, a few of them were damaged though and we had to exchange them.

What's the crack with TRV's? I see so many on offer. I never use them all of mine are set to 5 or the highest. Again it'll be from Screwfix

would rather fit a 'decent' brand for a few pounds more. Stelrad for me although they dont do 400's, theirs are 450. Quality difference is massive.

£68 (free delivery)

Or if you find your local PTS wholesaler they will sell you it over the counter for the same. If they quote a higher price tell them you saw it on plumbnation and they will often beat the price as its the same company and they save on delivery.

TRVs let you control each rad individually , not point fitting them if you just stick them all on 5

10mm pipe can supply up to 10000BTU easily, will just take longer... However I hate microbore very rarely use it. Most new homes will be fitted out with 10mm plastic.

In the process of having a new build built. No joke I was there for 5 hours today and they plumbed the whole lot. Holes drilled, pipe feed, plumbed together etc, wrapped and labeled. They even did all the copper stuff as well. Mental.

I've made notes of it all incase I want or need to fiddle

I have these Kudox radiators throughout my house, whenever I decorate a room the radiator gets replaced. I did the same in my old house too.

Can't fault them, they work well and look decent as well. Freshens things up dramatically.
