Given that 16GB is the next size down, if you chose that you'd only be able to install bare essential apps. So you'll absolutely need 64GB if you want to store music in there.

Just been told we are getting a 6 or 6 plus as a work phone from January....not entirely sure what to pick, nor why I really need one, but it's free, so I can't really say no!

Hey guys would repeatedly cleaning the screen on my iPhone 6 plus ruin any of the coatings they put onto it? I like my phone to look clean ect so wipe it down a lot of times probably 30+ times a day. I use a microfibre cloth for this

Hi all.

Does anyone else have the following problem....

My 128gb iPhone 6 had 60gb of music, only about 150 photos, and around 30 apps.

In my settings, and also on iTunes i'm being told I only have 9gb storage left

I should have around 55gb at least.

Just had a look....

Used 104gb

Available 9.9gb

However, the largest allocation is music at 50gb, and everything else added together only makes an extra couple of gb.

In iTunes the bar along the bottom which visually shows your storage use, shows 50gb of 'other'

Something not right here.

The phone was bought new from Apple, it's not jail broken.

Its not like its only a few MB of old data, were talking around 50gb here!

How do I find out if it's old phone backups?

Thanks.

It won't be backup you can only back up to iCloud or a Mac/pc

Why on earth would you back a device up on itself... My phones broke oh wait I backed it up, to what? My broken phone

I've had a Google and there's been a few people with this problem. I'll see how it goes for a few weeks and then maybe do a reset and use an older backup

No need to restore from an older backup. It just seems to be a bug with iOS not cleaning up stuff that should be cleaned up. By doing a backup and then an immediate restore, you end up with a clean phone + your files = success.

Haven't read this thread for a few months so apologies if this has been discussed.

Anyone else's front-facing camera slightly misaligned? I only just noticed it and it's doing my head in, can see a small white crescent on the right hand side. Going to take it in to the Apple store on Tuesday and see if they can fix/replace it.

Crescent-gate is a known problem with early versions. I heard Apple will replace ones with this issue.
