Looks like you were right Marine, bought it, got confirmation email and they took my money = contract. Then despatch confirmation but wait a minute, no Corsair H60 included, no explanation and then money refund but I want that H60. Posted in customer service and awaiting explanation. :mad:

Quite a lot of people think this is the case "money taken = contract" but this is not often true.

As per Citizens Advice: How a contract is made.

If payment has been taken from you this does not necessarily mean acceptance has happened, but it could be a good indicator.

Did you get the H60 by any chance then. I see you posted at 0942hrs that you had ordered stuff you don't even need, that coincidently was the time I placed my order, then you posted again later asking if there was something wrong with the H60 @ £19.99. ;):p:D

These are limited time clearance deals. The clue is the word clearance. If something is a great price in high demand, there is a chance you purchase at the same time as another person.

If the stock sells, there ain't much we can do as we have nothing to ship to you.

However, in the interests of being awesome, I can look at offering a H60 equivalent for the same price if you're interested?

If so, trust message me.

i mean do you guys actually think people honour those accidental "deals" where £800 sofa is £50 instead of 500

on-line retail isn't the same as face to face at a till with the product in your hand.

I recently saw where something was reduced by 75% in error (should have been 25%) and they honoured the orders placed before amending the deal, so in answer to you question yes :p great move by the company in question ;):)

well then good for them perhaps they didn't lose anymoney even at 75% People sharing website mistakes like that is usually why no one gets honoured as the HotUkdeals bargain hunters try to buy up all the stock.


Either way it's a clearance sale someone is always likely to want the same item .

It's an unfortunate problem with the web shop which we aim to have fixed in the future. Then people will just have to moan about missing out :)

I had this with a z97 mobo b grade was more than new and they gave me a nice discount :)
