When does steam Christmas sale start?

Steam sale seems poo so far but I did buy Watchdogs last nights from Kinguin for £8. Have no idea if its any good but for a few beer tokens I thought it might be worth a punt.

Was enjoying that for a week until Uplay decided I had a banned key (USAGAMES). Sent a customer service ticket to Kinguin around 11pm Xmas Eve. They have credited my account already.
Will probably buy again

Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons now £1.09 - hard not to take a punt at that price

EDIT - Notice: Brothers - A Tale of Two Sons requires a controller to play

I may have just wasted a quid, ahem.

Is Thief 4 more combat orientated than the previous ones? Any other differences noted by those that have played through it?

Edit : doesn't matter, I now gather it's much like the others in that regard. I think I'll give it a miss.

Really umming and ahhing about it. Most reviews are positive but £18 is still a lot of money to take a "punt" on.

its crap, don't bother.

played about 3hrs of it and its already rinse and repeat.

Its basically assassins creed with a half baked story line.

My mate has been raving about it ever since it was released; I'm tempted also, but I have so many games to play at the moment that I may as well wait a bit longer for a larger discount and hopefully some of the DLC thrown in as well!

I've clocked up 35+ hours on it. Story is a little strange but the Nemesis system is great. I found it tough at the start but once you get some finisher skills it's much easier - less running away now!

Definitely one of the GOTY for me.

Yeah, it's been getting great reviews but that was my thought after watching a couple of videos. The problem I've found is that after playing the last Grand Theft Auto every other 3rd person sandbox game like Assassins Creed just feels shallow and uninteresting! Personally I've never seen the appeal of Assassins Creed though but loads of people seem to like it.

Probably better waiting for the PC version of GTA5 to release if you haven't played it already and want that kind of game.
