*** The Official Destiny Thread (now includes 2.0 and TTK) ***

It's a shame PSN is still down. I was hoping to do 3 quick VoG runs to have a chance at getting the hawkmoon before Xur disappears, I guess that's not going to happen now.

I'm going to have to rely on logging on early in the morning as that has worked the last few times I have tried it. I need to do a bit of glimmer farming to get the Helm of Saint 14 upgraded before Xur is gone.

I love hate mails from Destiny PvP... it only feeds my ego that I just owned them.

Incidentally the 3 different hate msg I got were during my session on the 360 whilst the missus is busy on the One. Hmmm...
 
awesome day in destiny oh how i missed you, 19 SC from the Weekly and NF, Husk of the Pit bagged with Dredd present and my first Vex Mythoclast in HM on VoG with Dredd bagging one as well plus other goodies. I swear Dredd i told you before but its true your my lucky charm lol

Hawkmoon maxed out to 331 in 1 and a bit days :D and Husk of the Pit upgraded in 10 mins lol

So over xmas/birthday I've got Shadow of Mordor, Fifa 15, Drive Club, LEGO: Hobbit & Dragon Age Inquisition. My time was already way limited! But having played shadow of mordor whilst the outage has been ongoing before I saw the MUT fix I quickly jumped on Destiny and I had a 'what is the point?' moment and came back off on to others... first time I've been hit by that in Destiny but I hit the same points with WoW and GW and the shine was then tainted and I didnt really play them again... I do enjoy the fun with mates in Destiny though so hopefully it is just a blip/time out moment! Any of you guys play the other games I mentioned?
 
Dragon Age is good, but I found Destiny still eats my time so hardly got back to it since Skyhold. I should at least complete the story but it's a little too massive.

Perhaps on the next outage, I'll be more inclined to complete it. For now Destiny, despite the short story and repetitive missions, still my most played game over the last couple of years!
 
I havent bought the expansion pack yet, but I am still not level 30. Do I need the expansion to carry on to get to 30? or what am i missing out on not getting the expansion
