Got this for Christmas and still getting to grips with UT! Played a couple of offline seasons and just started an online one, have just over 10,000 coins.

What's the best way of signing new players? Gradually as soon as you get coins or save them up to just go straight for the expensive/rare ones? And looking briefly, how do you ever get 1mil+ coins for the big names?

And how do you know who's good/who will get on with each other?!

Just sign players from the same league or country then they will definitely be compatible

Don't bother unless it's managers (they make contracts worth more matches)

Each manager adds a % to the contracts (eg. a 13 match contract + 10% = 14 matches) and they are cumulative (2 x 1% managers = 2%) - max is 50%

So Hodgsen with 91 contracts means what? Sorry, not much re: the transfer market or indeed anything else is explained in the UT tutorial and searching is kicking up a load of outdated 13/14 guides.
