Woke up early because i have bursitis in my shoulder, came downstairs popped some pain killers and started playing......5 hours later i think i should get dressed!
Time to get the o/h designated chores out the way before i get hooked in again. :P

so i installed this, i played Elite and Frontier waaay back when, so thought ok shouldnt be too hard to get to grips with.

The sheer amount of buttons to memorise is mindboggling hahah, i managed to pickup a mission to deliver some stuff nearby, managed to figure out how to fly to the place i needed to go, but now im there i cant figure out how i land on the bloody Macarthur space station to deliver the good lol.

I guess i should see if theres a tutorial to work through first to learn the basics :)

You have to request docking. Press 1 on the keyboard, press E twice, select the station (with space) and then request docking. It will tell you what platform you need to dock on and give you a set time.

Request docking should be a button in its own right. Would make playing the game more fun when using voice attack or having it bound to a single button in the joystick.

Peeved off.

I get attacked by a wanted python and win (with the help of the feds). One fed crashes into me. Giving me a fine, once the python is dead (loads of cargo dropped) the feds start shooting me as Im now wanted and get a fine of almost 20k. And to top it off I dont get the bounty for the python kill. Even tho it shows up as I get it after he is killed.

Arrrrggggghhhhhhh Over 20k down. Now that doesnt sound a lot, but it is for me.

Are you sure you don't have the bounty voucher to exchange or did the feds blow you up?

cant get the throttle working in game on my logitech extreme, works fine in the windows calibration, and now amazon have sold out of the thrustmaster hotas x :(

Making some good progress now. I have a hauler with 18 cargo and 18 Jump Range unladen I could add another 2 cargo if wanted but tbh rather have my shields as you never know. Now trading has become fairly easy going to use this ship to make funds for a bit before deciding what to do next

Picked up a kill mission for a pirate who happened to be my old boss, well his name anyway, so thought why not?

Found him in an anarchy system and he managed to one shot me.

rofl harsh.

The names in this game are hilarious, I've lost count of the amount of time I've killed "TERRY NEGUS" now? anyone else seen this guy 500 times or is it just me lol?

Nostalgia, name, etc aside, is it actually a good game?

Yes but needs filling out a little still feels empty in solo mode not sure what online is like tho. I dont play games online as I find full of troll community's or little kids shouting abuse every second so cant say what online is like.

I don't play "Solo", apart from a single ten minute session to test something, but there is no real difference between the two.

If you're playing "Live", all it means is that a (very) small percentage of the other ships you see and can interact with are real human players rather than bots.
