Another thing I noticed is that she starts her song as soon as you cross past those Knights and into the main arena. So I don't think you can pinch a bit of extra time from not hitting them anymore.

Makes sense, the drop table from first chest had been moved to Deathsinger, first chest gets a new one, and a new 'looted by' flag.

Now only 4 shards needed for me :)

Can the Sunsingers still lob grenades under middle point to move them witches out of the room, before going pass / disturbing the knights?

Anyway, tonight's CE run will show then!

I did see a warlock doing this but someone had already lured them out by going in there so I'm not sure.

4 out of the 6 people had never done the raid "properly" before, it was funny and frustrating. These guys didn't even know that Crota moved around the top from the centre to the right and vice versa.
 
Aye, but it's unfortunate as a load of LFG I've joined starts with the intention of running normally and within 1 wipe, it's cheese, cheese, cheese. As fast as it can be when cheesed correctly, I found it a chore rather than an enjoyment like VoG.
 
I'll do a couple of legit runs on CE to get my armour topped off....doesn't change the fact it is just boring as hell. Looking forward to this evening's VoG normal run much more than CE!

Is there a PS4 CE raid going ahead later in the week (Thurs / Fri) or should I look to start one?
 
Sepiks prime, arc burn, only on nightfall

Damn, looks like the whole planet sequence is no longer valid.

I got all the way to sepiks prime on my level 29 warlock, had him on a sliver, literally couldn't see any red on his bar. He then proceeded to teleport just outside the room I was hiding in, and activate his vacuum cleaner attack which killed me through the wall. Happy days.

What's even more crap is that my self resurrect was litterally about to be ready as he killed me.

I can't be bothered to do it again on my own, especially at level 29. It's murder.
 
3 people with P & T and 2 with fatebringer made this the fastest nightfall I have had, the walker was gone all 3 times in less than a minute and the end boss less than 2 minutes
 
Yeah I did it with a LFG quickly on lunch. The room with the 3 waves was the only tricky part as usual. By the time I had cleared the adds on the left side of the devil walker ready to snipe it was down to 50% and opening it's crit box...full clip of P&T into that and he was done.

Sepiks went down very quickly as well. I'll be on to rinse through it twice more before the raid at 8:30.

Can't believe the Crota patch cheeses already. Jumping from the lamp rock up to the higher ledge.....I do wonder about Bungie sometimes. Easy fix = making sure the thralls spawn even if someone takes a shortcut...

Yeah, I'll be giving it a go this time around. I'm going to try it with my level 27 Titan first of all as I'd like to get my hands on the level 32 gauntlets.

I have the old Timur's Lash so it might be worth getting the newer version. I wish I could just upgrade it though!
