Very surprised they didn't recommend an i7.

Although this is the wrong section. This belongs in the PC gaming section.

Also, the 4870 wipes the 9800GT out.

Also @ 65GB!

Its to give folk in here an indication of how their hardware, particularly GPU(s) will fair with this, as many anticipated it may hammer hardware.

If they cared that much, they could check the appropriate section which would be PC games.

Whatever spin you want to put on it, this is the wrong section as the post/title is currently constructed.

Also, the delay is completely unsurprising.

Provided they haven’t crippled performance with a dodgy port like they did with GTA IV those are very good spec’s which means that a lot of PC gamers can enjoy the game as it was meant to be played.

Jesus Christ, 65GB space?!?!!?

I assume they couldn't be bothered to compress any files here, right?

Well, if it eases your concerns, the PS4 version is a 55GB install...

Nice Paul and this is probably the only game for now that will drag me away from ED.

Its by far and away the best GTA game to date, despite completing it on the PS4 I can't wait to get hold of it for the PC, if for anything, the better online support which I presume will be handled by Steam rather then rockstar.

Specs look good enough for the majority to enjoy at reasonable settings, christ, it looks good on the PS4 and thats only rendering at something like 900p 30fps.

saw the specs the other day somewhere, but didn't know about the further delay.....

is this game ever coming out?! don't think I'll pre-order now, as if I wait this long and I still need 5960X + 980SLI, I'd be savage, and I can only assume the delay means they haven't been able to get it running satisfactorily :-/

Hard disk space is cheap and broadband is prevalent. Why bother to compress when it's a simple performance gain to remove the optimisations? Still 65GB is not so much steep as f'ing vertical.

I still don't get this pre-order mentality for digital distribution. It's not like they'll run out of copies and if it's broken at launch, waiting for the reviews will save pain and further waiting for patches, means you get a working game.

lol its maybe the same mentality as typing "1st!" on youtube

people need to STOP tho, it just leads to more bad games
atleast from the big name studios
