It's snowing

Snowed in the west end of Edinburgh last night a good inch or so. We have had sporadic mini blizzards today but looking out the window at work I can see blue skies again :)

I don't mind the snow when its not snowing, but I hate walking in the snow!

Just looked at the Met Office website...Snow due here on friday morning...hopefully it won't settle until im back from work on friday afternoon

Light frozen dusting north of Stoke, went to work by bike expecting to be sliding around but it was quite grippy where nobody had been on it.

Wonderful view of the ISS at 7.30am watching from the canal bridge made all the getting up and going to work business worthwhile.

Over a foot here at 600feet in Inverness :D I took the dog out, walked through a field where it had been drifting, walked off a ledge I couldn't see and I was in snow up to my hips!! It's knee deep in the bloomin street FFS.

The street made an "emergency" call to the council because they never even sniff us with a gritter. They made the call because even the people with Landy Defenders were screwed. The plow came, left a mess, the gritter arrived kind of 15 mins later, got stuck, had to turn around and go home.

Live in the Highlands they said. It's lovely they said....

That's 1 step outside my back door this morning in the "sheltered" part of the garden. I just lol'd and went back inside and back to bed for a few hours before working from home today

PiKe, wez120. My pet hate is people not reading. And also people who multi post.... So we are at a standoff here :P

You failed to 'read' my username correctly.

Also, you posted a picture of snow, not stating where you are, it's only just now as i'm quoting this, i've noticed a couple of posts earlier stating you're in Inverness. So, on that basis, yes, i fail too, however, neither of us (PiKe or myself has 'multiquoted', so i'm lost there.
