Thank you for the kind words,she has said she will not see old age but wants to see our daughter reach a decent age (20).
I don't want to go to much into it as it hurts still,i never thought i would be touched by cancer or anyone close to me,the only reason i have not broke down is because of our daughter who needs me to be strong.
This is my reason to be strong..
I would spend it on some lovely champagne and a lavish meal after proposing to my girlfriend whilst we are on holiday in Thailand, Cambodia and Vietnam.
Hopefully she'll say yes and i'll be sure to share pictures of proposal, champagne and meal!

That's a good reason too and there's no reason why you should go into it. That was the same reason I didn't either, I had to be strong for my other 5 siblings.

What would I do with it? I currently earn just above NMW and this year I am taking a course to hopefully improve my earnings and basically have more time to spend with my family. I work 6 days a week and after work I usually go and help a house bound elderly lady with shopping and other things around her home which leaves me not much time at home.
The equipment and course will cost around £4500, I have around £1400 already but will take a while to save the rest. I hate accepting charity but I want a better life for my family so standards have to be lowered until I achieve my goal

However, for me i would love to take the kids to a London show - Lion King, Wicked etc. They have never seen a stage show due to the costs involved, train, accommodation, food and drink and the tickets themselves are ridiculously priced
So £200 would go a long way to a very rare, well deserved treat for the family.
On the flip side - £200 is a lot of money, are you sure you can't see a benefit of using it for yourself or your actual friends or family?

Edit: just read back..... I vote give it to Schizo. That's a really nice that you still have that relationship with you ex. I hope if me and my wife ever split up we could have a relationship like that for my son's sake. Hope she has many years to come.
