NASA Has Released The Largest Picture Ever Taken And It Will Shake Up Your Universe

There are countless billions of other galaxies out there too, Andromeda being our closest neighbour at 2 million light years away. It's mind blowing.

It's true... it works both ways too, if you look inside a living cell - the scale and size goes the opposite way, into a mind-blowing array of things, right down to the smallest quantum mechanical level.

Gotta love nature, I like Feynman's approach of just sitting back and admiring it, without getting too bent out of shape over having to make it fit inside your head, or understand how it all works.

I just look at Andromeda and just know that place is teeming with life. Wouldn't be surprised if there's a Star Wars style civilization going on in there that we'll never know about

As impressive is that is I think I'll be more impressed when we can start properly imaging planets in orbit around other stars (even close ones) with atleast a basic level of detail.

so if the chance of extra terrestrial life is 1 billion to one and there are billions upon billions of other galaxies out there, surely there must be life somewhere out there?!

it's not even a question, there IS life out there :p

Most likely yes, but whether there's much intelligent life out there seems to be the biggest question at the moment.
