Resident Evil Remake HD

Just a thought... If capcom are so worried a re2 remake would bomb.. Why not get it on Kickstarter? I'd back it! Anyone else? :D

No. They have the money, they can fund it if they think the market wants it. I can't see why it'd bomb anyway, anything RE seems to get lapped up.

Some of you guys that haven't played this are in for such a treat. My favourite Resident Evil game was 2 but when I played the Gamecube version of thismy opinion changed.

HAHA that was the same with me. REmake is the best remake of a game I've played.

I've held off buying this on PS4 as I have it for gamecube and would have loved it to come out on Wii U. I'll eventually cave in but there are so many other games I want first.

Im one of those trendy, against the curve ones, that preferred resident evil 3 over 2! But i would take both sure!

i loved them both! 3 was really on par with 2 for me. but i know a lot of people didnt like it as much as 2.

the nemesis stalking you through the most part of the game always had me a bit anxious as to when he was gonna pop up next :D

also, the ammo creating system was pretty good. where if you made enough handgun and shotgun shells they'd eventually start turning into more powerful ammo :)

crimson-head huh?

I cant remember these!

I do remember completing the game under a certain time to unlock the rocket launcher!!

I am pretty sure you had to complete it in under 3 hours, or something like that, with a grade A score. I think, but it could have been 2hrs. My memory is really bad!! :p

Just fired it up now. And, I'm not gonna lie, I don't remember it being THIS hard in normal  I died. Switched it back to easy as well. :D wish the kerosene canister held a bit more kerosene than two lots!

I am on middle setting, which from what you guys said is easy. Have to say after my first couple of zombies I was down to just a knife. Some rooms later and a bit of pressing 'x' on the scenery I have over 30 rounds of ammo now. But I dont get why she keeps reloading after every few shots.....? Perhaps I am pressing something wrong? I am finding the clips are often not visible, or hidden below movable furniture. Just got to the safe room, ahhh that music brings back some memories! :D

Now I got to find where the oil is and get the lighter.

Played for a bit last night. It's like a completely new game to me due to it being so long since I played PS1 Directors Cut and all the new locations. There are enough places so far to ping my memory banks, but I simply cannot remember where the keys are, or emblems or anything. Also I simply love the addition of actual mirrors. Just adds another level to the atmosphere. I did find the shotgun, but memory served me well. I wasn't gonna pick that up fo ****, not without the necessary item in my inventory!! (That much I did remember).

Had to lol at myself though at a key I found with a death threat. I had scoped the area out and thought yeah I can get away with this. Picked the key up and the spot I was gonna hide in disappeared! :p Fair play, I was warned, but I thought bleh I know better. I didn't. Earned myself a trophy for it too! :D

Really enjoying the atmoshpere and that tense feeling every time you go through a door - check your auto aim, and listen to see if anything bad is coming for you so you can do an about turn and run off :p

It auto aims on pc as well. Pretty sure it has done that on the older games on PS1/2 as well, but I could be wrong.

There was no auto aim on the original 1996 resident evil for playstation iirc. It was first introduced in resident evil 2.

Edit again, I'm wrong it was first introduced in the resident evil directors cut :)

Edit. To reload without going into the menu, you need to aim and press square. :p

I did that too but just popped the key back in the hole. :p

Kept dying at the Dog Whistle bit, wife asked for a try and BAM...done and dusted first attempt.

She wont let me live that down for a while :o

With it all coming at me I just panicked and ran then died like a scared wabbit!! :p lol

I think I know what I am going to need to do, a la the shotgun stylee. Just haven't been back there since my first ass whooping though :p

indeed! :p if you're Jill, you can get the shotgun without putting the broken one back in its place :D you just gotta wait while the ceiling falls.

Hh yes!! Now I remember. Dammit I need to go back for it now. I vaguely remember someone coming to help and some really dodgy cutscene acting.

You know the sort, like from the original game.....

Stop it!! Don't open.....that door! :p
