Didn't he bin it a while back? Wonder if that will affect the value.

£1million repair

He now wants £8million for it..

If it did affect its value I doubt he'd notice

I think he wrecked it twice. It was also the one used on Top gear in the Veryon vs F1 drag race if I am not mistaken.

When McLaren rebuilt it they stripped it back to a bare tub and from what I can make out almost everything was replaced during it's rebuild. Gotta say if I was looking for one I'd probably choose this one with it's crash history over a clean one

Same; it's all be done by McLaren and not some back street garage. Apart from collection cars with a few hundred miles on, it's probably the best example out there.

I also still think this is the greatest car ever made, doubt that will change any time soon. Utterly epic machine that I'd love to just see with my own eyes, let alone ever get a chance to sit in!

This will sell without doubt, one of the best known F1's in the public domain with a verifiable history and a unique colour and interior.

Dunno if it was posted/linked here but I remember a thread somewhere with several work in progress pictures of the rebuild.

It was this or another similar coloured F1 I saw as a boy. It was in Helsmley, North Yorkshire of all places.
