your favourite lagers

Not a big fan of your standard pub lagers, but having spent a fare amount of time in Munich for work over the last couple of years i can't get enough of the Helles Lagers.
The best of the bunch being Augustiner - Lagerbier Hell

More of an ale drinker me, but if it's wet I'll give it a try! :)

Budvar is my favourite lager, it's loop juice.

Honorable mentions to Staropramen, Red Stripe, Oranjeboom.

A 'favourite lager' is four-dimensional. It needs a time and a place :D

Mine:
A Greek island, on a summer evening after a day of lying on the beach, sat at the table of a little taverna with those little paper tablecloths. I'm tired from the heat but refreshed because I've just had a shower. And hungry, because I accidentally had a nap on the bed when I got in. Bowl of olives in front of me; glass of cold Mythos in my hand, with water condensing on the side of the glass, making the paper tablecloth wet. I know that I frequently have better quality, more flavoursome lagers on a regular basis at home, but at this moment in time nothing tastes quite as good. It's perfection!

Aside from all that, probably Peroni or one of the many awesome Czech beers.

Dangerous built the chair out of cans :)

Warsteiner for me, the odd corona in the heat.

I have always been a lager drinker until recently when I got into homebrew and a micropub opened at the top of my road. I can now see I was wrong about the "bearded weirdies". I find it hard to go back to lager after so many great tasting and full of flavour beers/ales. Although I only like the light and golden stuff :)

The best lager is to be found in the Czech Republic, the unfiltered stuff straight from the tank is to die for and better than any other lager period. Peroni, Kronenberg & Grolsch etc. are pretty much junk compared to this stuff. Staropramen is my favorite supermarket go to beer.

Staropramen
Birra morreti
estrella damm
peroni
San miguel
Jupiter was nice too.

I prefer I nice Belgium beer now though, more flavour.
