**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

this is why i always used a screen protector, a lot will say gorilla glass this, gorilla glass that, use the phone as its supposed to be used, naked etc but it not worth the risk imo
See your point (now) but Sammy's decision to use a slight curvature on the edges of the display means that virtually all present protectors are partially useless after a period of time. I just didn't want to waste money on something I'd have to replace after x amount of time due to the 'halo' effect around the edges.

My iPhone 4 and Oppo screens are perfect and have been for ages without the use of a protector. Samsung tend to use some strange plasticky like glass on their phones, which I have noticed attracts fingerprints and dirt a lot easier than the previously mentioned phones.

I use an Invisible Shield thing from CW. They put it on (She was only gone a minute or 2) and it has a lifetime guarantee (Can go in to store and they will change it for me there and then if its even slightly damaged or peeling)

Samsung Experience Stores, well a lot of them should have the Gear VR on demo! :D
Popping in this week to check one out! - Can't wait.

Note 4 v Nexus 6 head to head and unsurprising what we already knew:

Decide what features are the most important for you, and look back at what we have to say about them. That's what we did, and we each made a choice:

Andrew Martonik: Note 4
Jerry Hildenbrand: Note 4
Phil Nickinson: Note 4
Alex Dobie: Note 4

We all agree that things like features designed for a big screen and a great camera put the Note 4 over the top here, and is the phone we would pick if we were forced to choose which one is the best. It gets our recommendation, and wins this big screen showdown.

Down to the nitty-gritty:

Bad luck. :(

Is that just a new code to use again?

Unlucky bud...Samsung could have afforded to let it slide...tight wads.

Yeah they are being tight, bet they still would've made a profit, but now most will buy something else.

And they give you a specific code to yourself, bit like a gift voucher, though it expires on Sunday! I told her that if my PayPal refund is done tomorrow or Thursday (still not had it yet) then PayPal will hold the refund until it clears with my bank, likely after Sunday! So if that happens I'm to call back and see if their H/O will extend the voucher for me, yeah right, I can see that happening. May just get something else, back to Nexus 6 maybe?

I didn't order remember.

Note 4 is still good for £500. Nexus is good too. Or get a used Moto G and wait for the S6.

They're now giving a Montblanc pen to the first 150 customers so you might be able to get that as well as your discount:

Just got my cancellation email but on the up side I got one through work for £439. Delivered tomorrow.

People who are getting emails and calls saying they were given a £99 off option instead, have they given you a code to use, as I wouldn't mind jumping on the Note 4 wagon.
