Anyone else feeling old?

Back To The Future 2 is set in 9 months time.

The terrorist attacks on the World Trade Centre are closer to the 1980s than they are to today.

Kriss Kross: One is dead, the other is 35 years old.

Red Dwarf first aired 24 years ago.

Asked my son what he wanted for his birthday next week as he'll be 13.

I knew how old he was going to be but it has only just sunk in.

I hate Karate Kid.

When I first starting working in London I used to love the 'Guilty Pleasures' pages of The Metro.

Now I can't stand them.

I don't know anyone in them most of the time and I don't know who plays any popular music these days.

I'm 33 this year. Just been told I've got really high blood pressure that I need to get down and that I'm generally unfit.

Bit of a wake up call really. It's certainly made me feel older And made me realise that years of good food, drink, late nights and a degree of laziness have left me a little ragged.

I Now gym four times a week, have taken up yoga and don't eat salt.

I'm pretty annoyed with myself that it took something like the above to shake me up a bit but I'm damned greatfull that I can make changes now that will help
me in the years to come when I truly do become older.

I also manage a small team of people - two of my closest colleague are in their 20's. Most of the time I forget im that much older as we have a complete laugh at work.

I turn 41 this year. Don't feel all that old, to be honest. I've got a 3.5 year old little boy (and a 2 month old) and am extremely excited that he'll grow up with the new Star Wars movies! I get to enjoy that all over again with/through him. Of course, he might not even like SW.....in which case I'll be happy to help him find a new home :p

Thought red dwarf was late eighties?

Yeah, 40 is just around the corner for me as well :-/

What were your favourite ages guys? I liked being 17 because of 6th form. 22 was good for clubbing, at my height back then. 28 was alright, got my own house. Being in the 30s have been a bit slow though in comparison.

Turning 29 in May, one step closer to hitting the big 3-0.

Time goes by so quickly now, I never believed my parents when I was a kid and they told me this. It's both scary and exciting at the same time. The girlfriend and I celebrated our 2 year anniversary the other day, feels like we've only been dating a few months.

The one thing that scares me about all of this is the realisation that my parents won't actually be around forever. They're both in good health at the moment but obviously there will come a day where they won't be around, and that terrifies me.

I recently took some time to tell my parents just how good of a job they did raising my brother and I, and how much I love them. You never know what's going to happen tomorrow, I just wanted my `rents to know that, and to mention it on a completely random day.

I remember the 20s lasting the longest. Though sometimes school felt like eternity.
