**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

anyone own a Spigen Neo Hyrbid Metal case?

realising over last few days the edge below the usb charge socket is very sharp and when holding the case, my little finger will rest on this sharp bit, noticed skin coming off the finger.

hmm, not good, really like the case too

I have this issue too, I try not to support the phone with my little finger now.

Nah I will try stick to the Note 4 as long as I can lol, I am getting a bit fed up switching all the time now lol!

Haha I really did, I had a play of Lollipop on a S5 and I really like their GUI on there so I can't wait for it to come on the Note 4, which shouldn't be too long now lol.

I know exactly how you feel as it does get rather tiresome switching all the time! :o

Fingers crossed Samsung bring lollipop over to the Note 4 soon. I really like the phone however it's just ever too slightly big for me otherwise I would've bought one straight away.

Have your issues been resolved with what's eating the battery?

Samsung know what they're doing. 5.0.2 is such a buggy mess you would throw your Note 4 phones against a wall it's that frustrating.

Let the bugs get ironed out and let Samsung do their thing.

^So you're not facing any WiFi bugs or the RAM getting eaten up for no reason? Or any other bugs reported by users to Google then you're a lucky so and so...

On WiFi all the time at home, don't see any issues, no...

RAM getting eaten? Don't know. I don't have any lag or slow down, so wouldn't be looking to see so I guess no...

Anyone know if an o2 note 4 can be rooted?just tried to copy files over WiFi from my pc to sd card in the note and the app says I need root.

Yeah it can be.

There's ways around the SD card write restricitons though. Each app has a folder on the SD card to which it can write. Before I rooted I just set each app up to write to its respective folder, and it all worked great.

The other alternative is just to copy to the phone's internal memory as normal, and then use the My Files default app to copy the file to the SD card.

All a lot easier if you root, but that's not for everyone!

Thanks, doing that now
