What do you pay for your broadband?

What's with all these terrible upload speeds?

All that for 22 (4000 yen) pounds per month.

We don't live in Japan.

That's for TV, 100MB broadband and phone. I'm on one of the old packages though, going to ring them sometime this week and see if I can get on one of the new packages and get a few quid off.

My connection is a bit better now. :)

It'll be a nice boost from 2mb / 0.4mb (£20 per month) to upgrading for only a fiver extra.

Been a Plus.net customer for 10 years. I pay £35 for 8mb unlimited and phone line rental.

Never been offered a discount and when I ask I get virtually laughed at. My only other option in my area is BT which want more after a few months discount.

Any speed increase or fibre is unlikely to happen in the next 5 years according to BT.

Virgin seems to be one of the best which makes me sad that I can't get it in my area.

Only got fibre last May and paying through the nose for it (£45 a month for 76meg and Unlimited calls)

I love how Sky or other providers advertise their great service but never mension speeds.

Not that Virgin Media are perfect, their technicians are useless for one.

On the free Sky Broadband for a year here, just pay line rental of £16ish. Includes Sky Talk Weekends.

Really feel for you, at my parents house we used to get 3-5 Mb/s for around £25 on BT.

I'm paying £33 a month for 2 meg down 0.3 up and a phone which gets calls everyday from Microsoft India and the friendly ppi robot.
