Nvidia: what I want to share with you will redefine the future of gaming.

As Nvidia mentioned '5 years in the making'. Wondering if this will be some type of VR or eye wear, where they can claim it was in development before Oculus Rift etc

I would be happy with GM200 reveal and some more Pascal future info..

Just plz don't be wearables.. Only Gregster would want Nvidia enabled boxer shorts or shoes..

Likewise Nvidia's car stuff makes me fall asleep..

Bring on GM200 and beyond !

(Also this makes for great 'smoke and mirror' tactics while the GTX 970 fiasco is still going on..)

Not really, most rational minded people are already over that.

This is what some one had to say about rational minded people over 2000 years ago and people have not changed much since.

You would like to think that :p

At the end of the day it's some memory on a GPU, if people want to keep pouring their energy into complaining about it then so be it. Fact is both companies have made mistakes in the past and it soon gets forgotten. Just look at people like Boomstick, he'll no doubt buy the next Titan or 980ti or whatever when he said he was done with nvidia after this fiasco.

Many people are bored with the current state of GPU advancements so when anything happens that spices things up a bit it gets blown way out of proportion.

I think you meant to write 'most short minded people have already forgotten about that.'

There are still a number of people who don't enjoy false advertising from any company and will definitely feel cautious about buying a product from such a company again. Especially with the truly great way they ignored, damaged controlled and finally washed their hands of the whole thing.

Almost makes me admire their utter arrogance, ruthless business strategy and lack of customer care..

Almost..

I will say this for Nvidia. Recently they have delivered when it comes to drivers. AMD have gone AWOL.

I don't think AMD would have handled the situation much better than Nvidia did. Companies are there to make money. End of.

Now can we get back to the wild speculation?

Will you be purchasing any Apple devices in the near future.:p:D

Ha, I hate Apple. Doesn't matter what they produce I'm just not interested.

Samsung all the way..

My feeling about Nvidia has mooted somewhat, not because anything that Nvidia have done. They truly do have woeful respect for their customers.

But how the retailers stepped up like OCUK, and gave people their money back was excellent. It's good to know if people feel misguided with a purchase that at least retailer is there to help.

It hasn't changed the performance of the Nvidia high end, the Titan Black and 980 are still some of the best GPU's you can buy. I def do think Nvidia have some very sketchy business practices. The flip side is it works.. AMD have to fight hard to keep up, lack of new drivers / products is bothering me. Come on AMD where you at?

Neither company is particularity desirable atm lol. If only Samsung would produce GPU's :p

No I didn't mean that.

Any rational person doesn't let a GPU issue consume them and continue posting about it daily like some are doing on here.

Of course it may make people think twice in the future and be in the back of their mind but it's not something they find themselves thinking about daily.

If we never bought something again from a company that had falsely advertised something we would all be sitting with nothing.

It was about the principle, problem is the fanboys are muddying the issue with their own personal fanboy issues..

False advertising is wrong full stop. That's what bothered the rational minded. Fanboys don't come into that equation but sadly their the ones that make the most noise..

There was no such card in the nVidia lineup, my son. Now come and let me show you the new 975GTX, packed to the gills with a strapping 3.5gb of RAM. Perfect for stutter free 4k SLI gaming at a reasonable price!

Wow, sounds good, I'm in! :D
