Nvidia: what I want to share with you will redefine the future of gaming.

Well there's a surprise :D

It was only a week or so ago you were one of them blowing things out of proportion. :p

I'm really not a supporter of false advertising. That's what it was about for me. The problem is the fanboys of both camps, tried to turn into something else.

AMD found the time to Troll Nvidia, but still haven't found the time to launch any new drivers or hardware..

There is no preferable alternative to either imho :D

So yeah on the one side you have the market leader,

Nvidia:

Market leader. Ruthless business strategy, bit shady, but do deliver the products, not so good with the customers but keep drivers up to date and also provide good product roadmaps. Pricing can be outrageous.

AMD:

Playing catchup, less resources, open strategy, sometimes fail to deliver, good customer relations, but drivers lagging behind and also do not share upcoming product information, which if they did could be advantageous. Pricing can be great, but we know they would charge more if they could..

Would love it if Samsung came in and made their own GPU's..

Game changing tech 5 years in the making is no doubt VR rubbish or a watch to tell you your heart rate.

YAWN!

As for the 970-gate-don't-buy-from-nvidia patter... My wife had a VW Polo that I hated due to performance, but it didn't stop me buying a Golf GTD.

If this new product ticks the boxes, I'll be all over it. Unfortunately, I don't feel the need to hold my breath at this point.

+1

If GM200 delivers I would no doubt reluctantly buy it :D

This is very likely eye wear of some kind..

Had three AMD cards so far and nothing bad has really happened so sticking with it but if people like Nvidia sure go ahead, I might of done next if it hadn't been for the GTX 970 putting me right off. AMD has done stuff like that before I know but it hasn't affected me yet.

Jen-Hsun will be revealing his new tattoo

It took 5 years to get permission from his wife to do it.:D

Nvidia to change the course of gaming. I know what it is.

"Nvidia, removing stutter from gaming for good, after 5 long years of hard work we've finally decided to get physx and gameworks out of games and leave you with working, non buggy games that don't stutter...... we also blew up Ubisoft headquarters."

A console isn't a bad shout in truth but doubt it. 5 years in the making kinda has me intrigued... Meh, I hate not knowing :(
