That was lucky..

I was blowing out my PC this evening with my air compressor and I shatter the fan on one my 780ti's.:

After some moaning/swearing/sucking and wondering what to do I came up with the idea of stripping down one my old gtx 580's to see if the fan from it would fit,
and very lucky for me it seems to of been the same fan they used in GTX 580 as the GTX 780ti..

Wasn't really a backup card, Had to steal the GTX 580 out of my HTPC...

When I upgrade the GPU's in my main gaming system the old gpu's from my gaming system then go into my HTPC and the family PC

I used to watercool my PC but now find it to much hassle and money for small returns..

But it was one the things that I was thinking of after the fan broke (As I still have my triple 120 rad, water pump and barbs etc)

Glad you got it sorted.. i managed to snap one fan blade on my windforce card last clean, made a bit of a mess of my finger aswell. Lucky card still cools the same and doesnt seem to vibrate

Aren't blowers all fairly standard construction? All same diameter at least I think?

Was thinking of getting a compressor, think I'll stick to canned air for now...
