yep, done it my self today

the German 5.01 is an offical firmware so can go on top of any Note 4

if your using German ROM we will only get updates that are sent to German Notes 4's, but seeing as though its one of the first ones to get 5.01, im guessing it may be one of the first to get other updates aswell

you will not get any updates from O2 if your on the German ROM unless your on O2 5.01.

Keep flashing newer updates the same way (Odin) as they become available.

I'd wipe after updating. KitKat to Lollipop seemed to be just okay but not great. Wiped it and it's now awesome.

That sounds good - hopefully it doesn't have the horrible branding the 02 one does....the on/off screen (not that you ever really see it!) is made in something like 56x96 resolution - looks so nasty!!

Have joined the German Flashers Club and am very impressed.

Have un-installed Nova for a bit to see if I can get on with TouchWiz again and to also see what it is like. Will give it 2 weeks to see.

First impressions are that it appears to be a quicker phone, which is great. Only did it last night so have nothing to report back on the battery stats, but do like the predicted battery life that you now get.

My only gripe is the removal of the 'blocking mode' and replacing it with 'interuptions'. I really like being able to tell my phone to shut up automatically at 2200 and then make noise at 0630, but this is now gone. Have to manually go in and tell it not to interupt, but only for a few things and you have to set up Favoourite contacts to use in a similar fashion......will be looking at a way to get the same from Macrodroid. Would be good if they brought it back, but not going to hold my breath there

Turn the screen off and cover the HRM on the back, does it light up?

Although i did a factory reset last night. Have you tried this yet?

Getting horrible battery life, although I've not factory reset yet. Will try that to see if it improves things.

I'd always advise a fresh install of a major update.

Video of Andy's 5.01 TW had more lag than 4.4.4 TW? After the reports of the reverse I'm a little concerned?

I've only heard it mentioned for the S6 and then it is only a maybe:

We have also picked up information on the camera software on the Galaxy S6/S6 Edge. Samsung is using the APIs that debuted on Android 5.0 Lollipop to offer a Pro mode in the camera app. This Pro mode will enable the option to choose between three focus modes, including a manual focus mode similar to the one found on third-party apps like Manual Camera. We could possibly also get other advanced options, such the ability to save RAW images and control the shutter speed, which would give advanced users the power to shoot photos the way they want to.
