msi burn recovery

hi, just got my gs70. i've made a usb key recovery with the burn software. just wondering if/when i use it does it recreate the recovery partition on new drives or does it just do an install of windows..

It re-creates a fresh install of everything on the boot drive (if GS70 more than likely the 128GB SSD)
