should have drove the mini to asda instead OP

So theres no AMD for trainers?? No bang for buck GTX960 trainer equivalent?

Oh well... ill have a fish around and see if I can find something on clearence :D I figure since these things cost like 10p to make in africa they would be cheaper somehow

I bought a pair of Karrimor "trainers" for knocking about in, about £19.99 from Sports Direct. They're built like tanks and have taken a hell of a beating.

I don't run or anything in them. I don't see the point in paying £100 odd quid for a pair of trainers unless they're sporty stuff.

hang on do you want these for walking or running - would assume nike air is more for running than every day wear

for running then go to a proper running shop and get someone to watch you on a treadmill to see how you run then recommend you a pair of good running trainers - asics etc...

for walking around/every day use - if you want trainers rather than shoes then I'd go for something more like Merrell (or a cheaper brand of hiking shoes/trainers)...

shouldn't do - perhaps you're getting the wrong size? Plenty of outdoor shops stock them, go try some one. You can get them on amazon too.

I'm so confused.

Casual wear, just buy some converses. Stylish and comfy enough.

Walking etc, then get specific boots/shoes for the job.

My oldest son go's through Air-Max like they are throw away, if they were mine I would just throw them away without wearing them, they look awful (to me, horses for courses though).

nike air max aren't even comfortable trainers imo, I have some and barely ever wore them because they seem to wide for my feet which is weird as hell.

Got some addidas skateboarder trainers that are pretty comortable to walk and cycle in.

nike air just no thanks almost broke my ankle walking down some stairs because they are horrible and clearly to wide for my feet even though the length is fine.

DC's are fairly comfy for walking about it due to their soles.
Nike Air Max for walking is overkill, where exactly are you walking?

I bought a pair of Nike trainers, just normal style and they've been great since.

If you want practical a pair of boots can do wonders if you're doing a lot of walking, extremely comfy.

Different shoes suit different feet, what a shock.
