Just strip a litte more of the insulation off each wire and twist them until it's all set up properly. You're only getting the correct motor direction, not flying with them so they don't have to be sturdy.
Slide heatshrink over the wires first and leave it out the way. Twist the exposed 5-10mm of wire to the corresponding esc wire for each motor. Test it, adjust as necessary, then solder and slide the heatshrink over. It's really no hassle and is sturdier/lighter than bullet connectors.

 what I was saying is, is there anyway I can test motor direction without having a lower rating battery yet, I can use the 4S battery on my F450, to connect up once I have my FC installed, and escs attached and soldered/connected, and XT60 battery connector and cable soldered /connectedI will probably get a lower rated battery last for this model, but I still need power to test motor directions, temporaraly
