Well mine is packed up ready to go back, just switched to my old 5870 and does fine for the few games i play anyway.
Now to see how good the 390/390x's are in a few months hope they are worth the wait.

Soon as the 390X drops I'll be selling my 980. Can't come quick enough, hopefully a real upgrade in performance.

I'm selling all our 'old' cards in preparation for the new stuff !
Had the 980 for a little while now, just wasn't using it in my PC. It's the last high end card we have.. Makes a nice interim card.. Soon as new stuff comes the 980 will be on MM, bargain for someone
Looking at getting 390X for my PC (1440P) and 380X for my boys PC (1080P).

If indeed the 380x does end up being a rehashed 290x with higher stock clocks just give him back the 980 imo for 1080p

The Nvidia stuff must go, replace all the old stuff with new AMD cards when they launch. 380X should go well with their Haswell -E setup. Hopefully ideal for 1080P. I'm at 1440P and mini ITX so can only fit single GPU. Hoping 390X will give decent performance bump at this res.

Why does the nvidea stuff need to go? Also wouldn't it be cheaper to get a 290x for your son if the 380 is the same power.
