What would your build consist of? Whether it be for gaming/graphic design or any other reason?

This question was put to me today and I haven't looked at the possible answer yet.

So lets see, would it be a crazy custom loop watercooled, multi GPU system, or an air cooled system OR maybe your current system?

Try to think of your current knowledge in builds to formulate your answer as well :D

And lets bring it right down to peripherals as well, monitors(singular or plural, tri monitor, quad monitor etc) keyboards/mice/gamepads/projectors.

Literally everything! :)
 
A caselabs SMA8 in gunmetal!, water cooled cpu and gpus with hardline tubing, 4k monitor or one of those large curved ones
 
I'd rather do multiple 'normal' builds so I could try out different combinations and themes. Also I'd get to do a ton of different mods and water layouts.
 
5960x, X99 Krait, tri 980 SLI with reference blower coolers, white superflower 1000W PSU, white 32gb DDR4 2400, m.2 256GB SSD OS Drive, 512GB SSD Game Drive, 4TB Storage, Acer 4K GSYNC Monitor, white 780T Case filled to the brim with white led 140mm AF Corsair Fans, Fractal Kelvin S36 360mm Radiator Cooling with White LED SP120s. Corsair K95 Keyboard and White Steelseries Sensei Mouse.

I'd want consumer version of Oculus Rift, Saitek X55 Rhino Flight Stick, Thrustmaster T500RS Wheel with the F1 Wheel addon though I'd have to mod a McLaren logo instead of Ferrari logo.

I don't have the knowhow for custom watercooling and I don't relish the thought of having to maintain it and potential leakages. AIO coolers are good enough for basic overclocking.

I'd have cray build a custom cluster designed to play crysis at max specs on a custom built 8k 60" monitor. O and a teir 1 broadband line.

If I had unlimited money my thought process would be if I needed a simple Word Processing machine it would obviously require 4 x 980's

If you get my drift

Plus I'd love to buy tons of tech and do plenty of give away's on this forum (Thread Title x50 980 HOF's to give away)

Imagine the response I'd feel like Prince Harry on a night out.

I’d just get a decent rig and not go over the top. I just don’t see the need to spend silly money on a PC. A 1.5K rig would do me fine.

That wild seat with the three screens would be fun all the same. Currently have a old 2004 Build PC so I have some perspective :)

Rofl you almost perfectly described one of my old rigs, cept i had the 9800 modded to the pro. Im still using that case with my current rig.
 
Chieftec Dragon?! Never owned one. So wish I did. A truly golden age in personal computing.
