Looking forward to that external view just so I can see what it's like out in space, rather than in a station... :p

Bit of a shame that the first decal is basically pointless on this one, since the blue part of the icon runs over the blue lines above the multi-cannons and looks awful. :(

Gonna have to trek back to Fujin at some point today. I have a 150cr fine that's going to expire shortly and my system view shows only a single planet with single station out there. Eep.
 
When they have the external view, I will buy a skin for my ship. I didn't much see the point when I can't even see it unless outfitting.
 
I'm really not great, but I can hold my own as long as I'm not outnumbered or heavily outgunned, I think. I'd steer clear of your Anaconda, that's for sure! :p

Been considering going over to BD+03 2338 to help in the fight against the various Imperial player groups that are basically killing non-allied traders on-sight, but then it occurred to me I'd be helping another faction I don't like... :p
 
All day session on the beer today, so not much time for gaming but managed to claw back my 16M credits from getting killed easily.... What places sell decent Shield Cell Banks please? I had to sell mine but can't find an A5/4 in the hi-tec places.

Same with weapons? What are the better places for decent weapons? I am in Ra at the mo if that helps :)
 
Found an ok little route.

Round trip 15 minutes, maybe bit less, over 30k per trip.

Best have managed so far, and probably not too bad for just a viper.

Had to sacrifice my shields for more cargo holds though, so a little worried :D

The only place I've actually visited so far that sells an excellent range of weapons and modules is Feynman Terminal in Bhritzameno. :/

How do you manually cool a ship down?

I'm stuck in the middle of nowehere and cannot engage supercruise or the hyperdrive without the temp going to 200+ (which will blow me up and I might have to do).

I'm going to have to self destruct I think, as I can't think of any other way of getting to any destination..
 
Where are you? Right by a sun?

Go into modules on your right-hand panel and turn off everything that isn't essential. That should be a start. Shields, weapons, cargo racks/hatch, basically anything other than your thrusters and FSD. I think that should reduce the rate of heat build-up. Even still, if you're near a star, you will go over 150%, but it shouldn't last long.
 
I'm literally in the middle of nowhere. Nowhere near a star. My temp is idling on 84. The moment i try to engage supercruise to get to the station (4kls away), everything starts smoking and the engine splutters and stops, so I have to shut down or blow up

Don't like it - just had to make this as profitable as possible!:eek::eek:

Can probably get my Cobra after two more runs if I trade in my Viper.

Not sure whether to do that, or just keep saving and get Cobra.

Though seems bit pointless having both?
 
No, nothings working. I'm gonna self destruct. I've been here almost 90 minutes and it isn't changing so no point hanging on further. Pay out on ins and start again.
 
I've hit the overheating problem lots of times and mentioned it in here. I thought it was a bug at first or a problem with my Hotas. I honestly don't know what it is though. The moment I use my thrusters, my temp rises stratospherically to the point of blowing up. There's nothing at all I can do here.

I'm going to blow up and start again :mad:
