Mass Effect or The Witcher 2

Mass effect 2 all the way. never liked witcher 2 which I didn't bother to finish, even the skill tree was uninspiring.

Make sure you have ubersampling disabled. It kills framerate without noticeable benefit. With it disabled, game runs well and looks stunning

I've just started the Mass Effect trilogy.
The first game is pretty rubbish, very buggy for me. But the story is great, and the soundtrack is pretty amazing.

Just about to get onto ME2; And found out that by the time I reach ME3. There's DLC, for some prothean content with a character. Which is very annoying since I've just bought the damn trilogy. And will have to pay more to fully experience everything.

Has taken away my enthusiasm for sure.

meh, never bought any of the DLC and it didn't really take anything away from it at all.

Most of the DLC doesn't really add much.

I lost 6 hours to ME2 today, so far so very good. However if I were to be critical, the levels do feel linear - my memory of ME1 too.

I am sorry.. but this is complete nonsense. The DLCs add a lot. The prothean character in ME3 is one of the best of the trilogy. Shadowbroker, Leviathan, Citadel...fantastic, must have DLCs.

I agree that Bioware's DLC policy is terrible, especially when their DLCs are never on sale.
But I definitely recommend getting all the story ones.

Has to be Witcher 2 for me, i did like me2 but im more of an older era fantasy setting rather than the future!

Witcher 2. I love the ME franchise but the original hasn't aged very well. You notice things, like how every time you engage with someone there is a canned animation where they turn their heads.

Awesome for the time but the latter two win overal, with two being the best.

Edit: just seen you meant ME2. Probably still Witcher 2 but only because of the release of three shortly. Both games are equally as great in their own way.

The only one I liked was Shadow Broker, rest isn't worth the price at all IMO.

If you wanna throw loads of money at DLC then by all means go ahead but the price isn't worth the content at all.
