Jen-Hsun On GeForce GTX 970

Jesus Tommy, im an AMD fan just like you but come on dude give it a rest will yah, its boring now, and its plainly obvious your just picking a fight with Gregster.

And to be fair in this instance Gregs done sod all wrong as well, your starting to look proper childish mate :(

But you're quite happy for Gregster to keep pecking away at it as he is doing now? His classic technique combining methods of mock outrage, mock hurt, sniping, derailing, making the thread about him etc all nicely on show. He's a classic troll whether he knows it or not.

The 295x2 is a great card. Wouldn't be a bad move at all and would save you upgrading for a bit if you didn't want to. My only concern would be that lack of CF profiles. AMD don't seem to be in a rush to get them out but that doesn't detract from the card itself.

This is what got me jumped on...Really?

It is unfair, people who own the cards themselves have spoke about it in the driver thread and there's a guy wanting to trade his in the MM for the same reasons.

As for having to own a card to be able to give an opinion on it, well if that's a rule we may as well delete most posts in this section. :D

Wow you're really quite disturbed. All that analysis on Gregster's posting style. I'm sure if you ask him nicely he'll give you a 1 on 1 for you to further your investigation.

Let's stop the bickering now please gents.

Tommy, I'd suggest taking a few minutes out of this thread and stop trying to bait Gregster.

A bit of fun so please keep it nice.

Pretend for a minute I was in the market for a new graphics card and I had to choose between a GTX 960 or a GTX 970 which would you guys recommend and why.

I am not interested in a GTX 980 or 290X either.

No brainer really, the 970 of course.

Depending the price target:

1 x Inno3D GeForce GTX 960 iChill X3 Air Boss Ultra 2048MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card (C960-2SDN-E5CNX) £169.99

That one for quality/price point.

1 x KFA2 GeForce GTX 970 OC Silent "Infin8 Black Edition" 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card **WorldWide Exclusive** £275.99

That one as it's the only quality one with a guarantee against coil whine.

I am not interested in a GTX 980 or 290X either.

1 x Powercolor Radeon R9 290 PCS+ OC 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card £221.99

That one would win it as it's priced in the middle with performance in the same league as the 970(give or take)and least likely to whine.
