**** The Official Note 4 thread ****

I bit the bullet today after being underwhelmed by the M9 and S6, and ordered a Note 4 in black. Should be here tomorrow :)

Did anyone find a good car charger for it?

Thanks.

Sent you a link in trust of the one I use with mine, works really well!

Perfect, thank you both :)

Really looking forward to receiving the phone tomorrow, my M7 is still perfect but I'm looking forward to having the extra screen real estate and a better camera.

Ps, does the fast charge facility cause any damage to the battery?

I have this annoying gripe with the Lollipop update that whenever I get an SMS or WhatsApp message a pop-up appears at the top of the screen, does anyone know how to turn this off? I'm talking about when using the phone in general for example watching a video or in an app, lock screen is fine.

I get that in kitkat on my note 3 - dont think its a lolipop only "feature"

I don't remember it happening on KitKat from what I can recall though. I've done a bit of research and it seems it's a trait of Lollipop, not just for TouchWiz Lollipop ;/

Was also looking at that, not sure if its safe. For one, they don't tell you the Note 4 Number.

Is it a SM-N910F Note 4 Snapdragon European variant? Or is it sourced from overseas?. I'm thinking it might probably be the Note 4 SM-N910C Exynos variant as the technical specs doesn't list it as a CAT 6 or LTE-A which the snapdragon variant has.

says quadcore on the specs...

Here's an odd question, my Note 4 arrived today but I have this feeling it might be a grey import. Would this cause any issues with warranty? I know with some phones a grey import will only have a 1 year warranty instead of the usual 2 years.

I only ask as the sealed box had a few stickers on with Russian writing on, and when the phone first turned on, it was defaulted to the Russian language (but I could pick English).

Is there a way to check the warranty on the unit? It was 100% sealed and brand new.

Thanks.

Edit: Resolved. Spoke to Samsung UK who confirmed it was an EU model, but was covered under the 2 year warranty in the UK.
