*** The Official Samsung Galaxy S6/Edge Thread ***

I almost wonder if the green casting on the edge display is the green bezel reflecting onto the display rather than a colour shift? Will need to see what it's like on the other colours really, but I had fancied a green one :(

Can you explain what you mean by colour shifting on the curved area please?

its described in the video, shes viewing a web page that's white but there's a slight green tint to the white on the edge area.

could also explain why there's very little videos of samsung demoing video on the edge as its always on the standard S6.

Ahh okay thanks, I couldn't view the video for some reason on my phone, clicking the image / shot of the video just did nothing

Hopefully Samsung sort the colour-shifting prior to release as I was hoping to get the Edge version.

Apparently this isn't an issue with the Note Edge so there doesn't seem to a technological reason for it.

Looks like the S6 edge could suffer from colour shifting on the curved area of the screen... this is a deal breaker for me

Doesn't happen in KBHD's video....

According to reddit it's not colour shifting but a reflection from the body (Erika uses the green model and gets a green tint on the edges), which makes sense given KBHD uses the white version in the video above and no discolouration can bee seen on white pages.

Still leaning towards the normal S6 for this, everytime I see a new video I think "hmm the edge does look nice, but is the extra £100 worth it"..

Maybe will have to wait and see them before I decide.
