I made it 39.89 but I have possibly done it wrong... lol
7427-5309 = 2118...
(2118/ 5309)*100 = 39.89%

That is very disappointing performance for a £1k+ gpu. Pointless buying at that price with 16m, card likely 1 year away. Awesome card if you got money to burn though![]()
Surely with a baseline of 100% for the titan x, the 980 @ 71% is 29% slower?

I must admit if this rumoured adjusted price is anything like accurate then I have a dilemma, I was kinda hoping they would be £1-1.2k so I could completely write them off, but if they come in anywhere between £750-850 then I have some serious thinking to do.
Exactly, you think it would for the cash that's gonna be splashed.Nelly said:Have to admit, the backplate looks pretty special.

I highly doubt it, there is no need for Nvidia to offer the Titan X at sub SLI GTX980 prices unless they are willing to lower the price of the GTX980 also or lose sales.
What an odd set of benchmark results.
3DM11, >100% scaling on the Titan X and the 290X only 46% the speed of the 295X2.
