Well that was a nice surprise. My wear and tear costs dropped from 3.5M to 2.2M and fuel costs are much cheaper. I am now paying 384C instead of 35K :D

I know what they are, but why have they increased six-fold over last patch?

They seem to have massively reduced fuel and repair costs, but kept wear & tear expensive. They did it because there was a big imbalance where ships bigger than a Cobra were not viable for anything other than trading.

*sucks air in through teeth*
Cost o' labour, mate, innit. That's what it is... ya got ter use OEM parts on this ship, else yer in-shure-ance ain't valid and it costs ya more'n it's worth, innit. But to fit them parts, ya got to 'ave the qualified fitters an' they costs a bomb and an 'alf to ship out this far!!

Actually, I see it as the difference between basic repairs (main station menu) to just get the components working properly, but the full repair menu to be more about component health and structural framework. Certainly if the frame on my bike is badly smashed you'd be seriously risking your life going out on it and frame repairs are expensive, especially with all the work to remove/refit everything before/after.

Why are imperial designs so aesthetically pleasing, or pretty as I like to say :D

Imperial courier concept art.

Ooh the Imperial Courier, she's the ship that will make me play this game with a bit more intent. However, those side pods will need to extend out all unnecessary like! :D If not, she's not going to be a proper Courier in my eyes.

I got a star chart this morning too :) Think I'm due a t-shirt but not seen that yet.

I too got the Star Chart, wasn't expecting it as id heard nothing about things being sent out. :) Looking forwards to my T-Shirt and Premium boxed game, its been ages since I've actually had a boxed PC game to put on the shelf. :)

Looks like they listened & finally altered the interdiction rates which were getting out of hand now its gone the other way none whatsoever! (not that I am complaining about that BTW ;)).

Well wings is slightly bugged but kinda in a good way.

When u can finally get into a wing ( invite dissappears instantly, tip send private message to the person repeatedly till that goes through then wings invite will work)

If u leave a friend in the station ur trading to at the furthest from sun as long as he has his na beacon on u will insta to the station no matter diatance.

This is only meant to work at 150ls but we were doing it last night at 1,100 saves loads of time.

Especially if u have 2 friends afk at either end of the trade route.

Same, was my favourite ship in Frontier and the one I have been most anticipating in Elite Dangerous.

I like the design, but I don't love it; it should be pointier! And yeah, as you noted the nacelles extending and retracting is a must...

Contrary to what many are probably hoping for, I'd like it to be an explorer first and warship second; I mean if I'm going to spend weeks travelling to the core and beyond, I'd rather spend it in that glorious cockpit than feeling lonely on the bridge of my Anaconda!

For old times sake, and for those of you who haven't seen the Courier in action (complete with planetary landings!):

Question about interdictions.

Are there any interdictions that you can't escape?

For instance if someone has a class A interdiction unit thing, does it make it guaranteed every time?

Does the quality of you FSD help you get to the escape vector easier?

Also, when you're interdicting someone, do you control the escape vector, or is it just random?

I'm not planning on doing anything of the like, I'm quite happy trading until I have enough for a nice ship to go exploring in.
