Hello friends.

We're all well aware of the 970 VRAM issue but I feel there has been a lot of scaremongering with very few people (or websites) posting actual numbers and data.

Here is an article from Digital Foundry stress testing the 970 with many games at many resolutions and settings:

That won't fly around here, facts and testing are useless when people have personal experience from a friend of a friend on a forum who heard it from someone else.

Interesting read, all common sense, but as it says quite nicely, more smoke than fire and damn a lot of people like to blow a lot of it around here.

Very interesting results. The frametimes mirror the 980 all they way up to 4k DSR at 1440p at ultra setting with ultra textures recommended for 6Gb cards... lol.

He will go back. He is already doing the ground work by saying that NV and amd are just as bad. Soon titan x will be in his case and it will be the best thing ever!
