I'm actually a feminist too. I want everyone to be equal under the law.

Feminists don't want everyone to be equal, that's equal rights campaigners. Feminists are out for female supremacy.

And yet when women pose in underwear, especially women who aren't the normal shape or size for bikini models, they are derided and abused.

I think you will find that an obese man posing in underwear will also be derided and abused, equality in action :D

About 10 series ago I never watched Top Gear because it was about cars which I have no interest in.
Somebody told me it wasn't to do with cars so I tried it, found it wasn't about cars and I've been a fan ever since :)

This pretty much sums up why old Top Gear was cancelled and why new Top Gear is the BBC's #1 show.

Absolute garbage. Extreme feminists maybe, but the vast majority just want equality

Also :

But I'm done with the feminist thing in this thread as it's way off topic. If you want to talk more about this with me, start a new thread.

IMO the Woman you refer to, and they do exists, the Lobour Party have one of two of them... are not Feminists, they are plain sexist, Feminazis... the female equivilent of what real Feminists are against.

These Woman just parade their ideals and actions under Feminisum politics because no one will chalange them maskarading as Feminists.

These Woman should be separated from the Feminisum movment and chalanged as the pepole that they are.

Sorry but no, you get two types of feminists these days, middle age ones who are still fighting the world they grew up in like the ones slating Clarkson (this is why it isn't OT btw), and young impressionable ones who have been rallied by the older ones. The ones genuinely out for equal rights refer to themselves as equal rights campaigners and in most cases try and distance themselves from the feminism movement due to it's implications.

The problem is that the world the older feminists are fighting against doesn't exist any more, at least in the UK, in modern UK society women have equal rights to men enshrined in law, and in most cases actually receive preferential treatment.

The Woman and Men on TV slating Clarkson are just puritanical idiots.

They don't like him because his ideals and personality clash with theirs, these people who you see do it have a political soapbox and so they use it.

Clarkson does exactly the same thing, he does it to the people he doesn't like.

They are all entitled to do that.

Having said that IMO the main difference between these two sides of soapbox ideology is the puritans do not grasp the concept of having an opinion, a disagreement, clashes in ideology and actively want the Clarksons of this world silenced.

Looking at the TV guide, I'm surprised that none of the other stations have taken the opportunity to put something decent on at the 8PM slot tonight.

Yeah its all Crap.

BBC1: has one of those annoying no talent shows.

BBC2: has a doco about the Red Arrows, which i'm pretty sure i have seen. its a repeat....

ITV: Game Shows.

CH4: Some Old Men in a Canal Boat, repeated from last night i think.

CH5: Tomb Raider, screened 13 times already on that Channel.

You seem to be having difficulty with the concept of discussion forums, they don't just exist for your benefit. If you make a point relevant to the topic of discussion you can't just turn around and say "bored of this now, everyone talk about something else, trolololol" >.>

Wouldn't they be going head to head then with the "midwifary" show if it's on? Which is a heavyweight in it's own right, so they would need to put something on that Top Gear viewers will turn to instead. Not sure what fits the bill really, TG and Doctor Who are the only thing on terrestrial TV I still watch lol.

Again, if you're not talking about the thread topic, then start a new one.

Not rocket science m8.

I wonder how long the BBC will keep up this charade, now accusing him of being 'like Saville'.

I find that quite ironic since i'm pretty sure they knowingly hired and hid paedophiles...
