Am thinking that I might give the raids a miss for a while as I feel that I'm not bringing anything to the group at the moment.

Really need to find a way to start healing myself, which as a hunter it seems the most popular way is via Red Death or Mask of the 3rd Man. Which ironically both drop from the raids lol.

I also need to get my 2nd character levelled up (ideally a 3rd as well) so I can start earning more strange coins each week, which in turn will allow me to buy the better equipment from Xur each week.

Normal modes are fine mate, it's only hard which is the pain with health regen. Mask of the 3rd man could by sold by Xur, plus you could get a legendary helmet that has infusion as a drop, engram or something from the NF, weekly and dailys. Last night was a pain, anything and everything that could go wrong did, it just happens sometimes!

Dont forget that bladedancer has hungering blade to regen health just shout out for someone to leave you a thrall to kill :D

the helm from crota can also drop with regen health on orb pickup so dont give up yet :)

She could always join directly but has never raided before (would have to be patient with her).

Exactly! I'd say the main thing you really need is decent launcher, that blue one is a bit limp! :D

Get the marks together and grab a one way ticket from the Vanguard. Tracking is preferred but no required.

One Way Ticket is a damn good shout! Any idea of hand how Vanguard Marks it costs?

150 plus a commendation (VG rank up past rank 2).

The VG one is Solar and has field scout (2 rockets in the tube, 5 reserve for 7 in total) & cluster bombs.

It is pretty decent but obviously lacks tracking. Just aim at Crota's feet and you will get the hit. :)

I best get at it then, only have 93 marks at present but do have the commendation already.
