nVidia announce the Titan X at GDC 2015

Better stay on a x86 os then, because intel's 64 bit instruction sets are based on AMD64.

AMD are everywhere in gaming atm and i don't see them going anywhere. He will soon be out of gaming options if he does not want to use anything amd had a part in. He's trolling anyway as he is most likely a raging AMD fanboy using these forums to roll play as a Nvidia fan. It's a strange way to get kicks but you meet all sorts on the internet lol.

Are you his more subtle opposite?

;)

Right, having looked for more solid info on DX12 tiers and what is what, I am still clueless. Some are saying that MS have lowered the DX12_3 spec because nVidia paid them to do it  Some are saying that GCN has been downgraded but there is no actual facts on GCN being fully supportive of all DX12 components (it should with AMD being in the Xbone) or Maxwell being fully supportive of all DX12 components, so gawd knows.

Some good comments in there but doesn't really answer anything. Worth a read for those interested :)

I hope TX is fully DX12 compliant but if not, that will be a downer.

Well wasn't the DX10 spec lowered to suit Nvidia in Vista?. Going by that I wouldn't say it was impossible.

That was when the 2900XT/HD3870 plummeted in performance when AA was added due to software managing the AA whilst the 8 series Nvidia GPUs enjoyed being able to use hardware. I might have got a few bits wrong as it was a long time ago and I've not got a clue about the source I read this from back then. Just saying if there's any truth to that then would you really be surprised if Microsoft moved the goalposts for Nvidia?.

I'm not comparing the DX10 spec fiasco to this in terms of the performance differential aspect. Just for the plausibility of Microsoft to possibly change the DX12 spec.

Quite happy about dx12 not fully featured if true on the TX's. Means there's very little of AMD ****e being used by my cards.

I'll tell you whats ridiculous, they spent mountains of money on developers trying to get their mantle crap that no-one wanted into games, no-one took it up so they gave/sold it to Khronos for Vulkan and now Vulkan is being incorporated into DX12. As long as there is a DX11 option for a very long time I'll be happy.

Where is the ban for obvious trolling? Nobody is this ignorant.

Either the rules mean something or they don't.
