Im still blown away by the quality of this phone especially the camera. Went on holiday last week and took a lot of pics and videos including 1080p 60fps footage on the plane which was great when you have the fast motion of take off and a lot of 4k footage and the quality when blown up on the tv looked amazing. It amazes me the quality you can get out of such a small camera that puts to shame my old camcorder.
Just did a straight flash upgrade I was too lazy to factory reset, it ran fine for a while after upgrading, might do a reset though.

Decisions decisions , new Note 4 or wait for the Note 5 ?? When is the Note 5 due out ? I did hear around October , got an acute case of shinyitis developing
September / October. I'm in the same boat but am just about managing to hold out for the note 5. be strong!
Just realised that my note 4 didnt come with the adaptive charger! Just a standard 2a samsung one. Mobilephonedirect will get an email now
Same with me. It came yesterday. A standard 2a samsung one was sort of forced into place. Worse yet, it does not even work...
The cable works fine when i put it in my computer.

It should be announced at the IFA Berlin during the first week of September. The Note 4 was shipped on 17th of October. So a seven month wait for you.
Oh where did you buy the note 4 BTW. I might even try to call Samsung to get them to send out the proper charger.
my 2a works fine though.

I think I'll be waiting to at least see what the 5 brings, though granted it's a heck of a wait.
My Note 2 is still bumbling along nicely and with lollipop coming at some point, that should give it a new lease of life. The sim free prices for the Note 4 are still high enough for me to want to wait.
What does the adaptive charger look like? The one I got in the box with my Note 4 looks like any other Samsung charger and is a 2A one.
In other news, I think I may have solved my poor battery life issue. I was struggling to get a full day out of mine, and often that was the phone sat in my pocket with no out of the ordinary usage. I read a post on Android Central yesterday about clearing your cache which I've done, and although it's still early days, I'm not losing as much battery life while the phone's been in my pocket.
I unplugged the phone at 8am this morning and I'm currently on 97% - yesterday it was sat on 91% at 10am. Fingers crossed it's fixed it.
